Infrastructure Commitee

Goal: San Diego Regional EDC will develop and implement strategies to ensure regional capacity in six business mission-critical infrastructure categories: water, housing, energy, transportation, economic competitiveness and environmental stewardship.

Business Development Committee

Goals: To serve as a network to identify companies interested in investing or expanding in the region, or those at risk of leaving the region, and provide necessary assistance to ensure a positive outcome; oversee EDC’s lead generation program; and provide input on EDC’s national media relations campaign.

Preschool Task Force 

Goals: Create a data-driven communication tool which provides recommendations on access and quality improvements to area schools; convene presentations to companies, trade associations and business groups about preschool issues using communication tool; educate local policy makers about the importance of quality preschool programs from the business community’s perspective; collaborate with similar groups throughout the state to provide a unified message about the importance of quality preschool.
