Join World Trade Center San Diego on May 27 for our Q2 2026 Global Competitiveness Council (GCC). This quarter’s GCC will cover San Diego’s blue tech and maritime ecosystem as a strategic pillar of U.S. and allied national security, with particular attention to the Indo-Pacific.

As geopolitical competition intensifies across maritime domains, San Diego’s strengths in undersea systems, autonomous platforms, cyber and communications, shipbuilding, and MRO place our region at the intersection of commercial innovation and defense readiness. The discussion will also highlight the Port of San Diego’s Blue Economy Incubator and its role in accelerating early-stage maritime and ocean-focused companies, strengthening dual-use innovation, and connecting regional startups to global markets.

Together, the conversation will explore how allied frameworks, friendshoring strategies, and evolving export controls are reshaping maritime supply chains and partnership opportunities across Asia and allied markets.
