SHIP Regional Visioning Workshop

San Diego Military Advisory Council, San Diego Ship Repair Association, and San Diego Regional EDC are partnering with NAVSEA and the IBAS SHIP program to host a day-long workshop to assess the regional workforce and supply chain needs of San Diego’s defense industrial base.

The objective of this event is to simultaneously support near-term and future needs for shipbuilders, submarines manufacturers, and supply chain partners to remain competitive. SHIP emphasizes the importance of establishing regional offerings that address and deliver validated needs within the community. These offerings will address gaps in areas like workforce, technology, supply chain, infrastructure, and policy.

This workshop will bring together and build upon ongoing conversations by learning from regional leaders across industry, education and government.
