Talent Workshop Series: Addressing the Affordability Crisis

San Diego Regional EDC exists to mobilize business, government, and civic leaders around an inclusive economic development strategy to maximize regional prosperity. In pursuing this mission, EDC will host a series of quarterly workshops focused on the cornerstone of any strong economy: skilled talent.

This October 18 talent workshops will focus on:

• Resources to address the region’s affordability crisis, available to HR leaders and employers
• Offering a platform for TA/HR managers to collaborate, network, and share best practices.
• Developing solutions to San Diego’s workforce shortages and skill gaps.
• Soliciting feedback on how these tools work well, how they can be improved, and what should be developed next.

The second workshop will highlight different strategies employers have taken to address the affordability crisis for their own employees and an opportunity to network with other Human Resources and Talent Acquisition/Recruitment Managers over breakfast and coffee.
