Hiring Local Business Talent

This event is part of San Diego Regional EDC’s Advancing San Diego program, working to better align industry and education through communication of needs, adaptation of programs, and access to paid work experiences. The session is designed to be mutually beneficial for schools and employers. Preferred Providers of business talent will share how their curriculum prepares students for entry-level marketing and operations positions. After hearing from each program, providers and employers will have the chance to participate in a small group discussion on how programs can continue to work with industry to meet entry-level needs, explore ideas for projects, and facilitating new partnerships where there’s interest.
