At the event on May 2, 2019, we honored Dr. Karen Haynes, president of CSU San Marcos, with the Herb Klein Civic Leadership Award presented by Sony Electronics and ResMed with the Duane Roth Renaissance Award, presented by UC San Diego. Plus, we welcomed 10 new directors and two newly appointed trustees to our board.
And the annual celebration was finished off with some inspiring remarks from our chair Janice Brown. She talked about how we’re creating a more inclusive economy and climbing the second mountain. But this requires collaboration.
